PITCHED ROOF EXTENSION - WATER COMING IN!

I'd recommend soakers of a secret gutter, just dressing the cover flashing is asking for trouble.

PITCHED ROOF EXTENSION - WATER COMING IN!

you dont put soakers under tiles you dress them over each tile, from what your saying the cover flashing and soakers are one piece? As alastair mentioned a secret gutter would be best , and then renew the cover flashing.

    smokey bedroom???

Interesting one , sounds like the flues merge just before(or on) the top floor, so not much you can do apart from remove the cap, or try putting a 'marcone' pot on or even a 'H pot' on your stack. If that doesn't work then getting a new flue liner is the only option i see.

Damp on outer upstairs walls by a chimney

Hip roof meeting main roof close to ridge tiles

Don't recognize the actual tile, as there have been many many makers of plaintiles such as yours, i'm guessing they're clay tiles as they look too square to be concrete.

    ROOF VENTS

There's a fair bit of work involved making one of them mate, plus lead isn't exactly cheap, neither is the oxy /acetalyn or the relevant insurances needed.

synthetic slates gather moss - how to clean

5 litres of bleach poured down each side, and collected(very important) through the downspout, you could do this a couple of times to be sure, and what you have collected back can be used again . The bleach will kill the moss, you could possibly jett wash the dead stuff off in a couple of...
