why is your 280 knocking out the overheat stat in the first place?, these things are dinosaurs now as much as i love them.....let it go It's just a bit annoying to have to spend £1400 when £14 might have fixed it !!!!

Hi My boiler has a faulty heat thermostat The part number is 87161423640 Only costs about £14, but it is shown as obsolete with all the sites My plumber couldn't source one locally with any merchants Any ideas how I could track one down - even 2nd hand would be ok I don't want a new boiler...
