Worcester Boiler Thermostat Obsolete Part

Hi

My boiler has a faulty heat thermostat
The part number is 87161423640
Only costs about £14, but it is shown as obsolete with all the sites

My plumber couldn't source one locally with any merchants

Any ideas how I could track one down - even 2nd hand would be ok
I don't want a new boiler for the sake of such a cheap part

thanks but that site is no longer owned by the company. My plumber phoned them and they couldn't help

Does the stat show it's temp range on the side?
It's a fairly basic Ranco stat.

I'll find out tomorrow. Are you thinking a different part could be fitted in it's place ???

They are not real, they dont hold any stock and never have. why is your 280 knocking out the overheat stat in the first place?, these things are dinosaurs now as much as i love them.....let it go

It's just a bit annoying to have to spend £1400 when £14 might have fixed it !!!!
