the brick work looks staggered I guess for ventilation purpose. It looks disturbed in places where past tradesman have damaged it fitting electrical wires and gas central heating pipes. I was going to lay DPC ontop of the brickwork then pack the gap with wood or slate to support the joists

Hi there i have a concord wrs40 boiler. lately the boiler has been taking a few minutes to fire up the water from when you hit the +1 hour button on control panel...but today i switched water on for one hour and nothing. Water is not warm and boiler just wont fire... central heating is fine...

would that be expensive to replace do you think
