A place to store stuff mainly. As you can see it's pretty grim down there. I'd like a nice smooth floor so wondering if I'd get away with pouring a small layer of cement over the stones once it's cleaned or will it need sand/gravel first and reinforcing? Thanks

Hello, complete newb here. I've recently moved into a flat with a cellar and I'm wishing to turn it from the mess that it's in into a usable storage room. It's currently got a stone floor with a couple of small holes in, pretty even but not completely so. I'm wanting to concrete over it...
