Hi I have a detached tomber framed 3 bed house built about 10 years ago I would like to make an opening in with was the back wall of the garage (now converted) the wall has a floor joist running above it (NOT 90 degrees on to it(supporting wall style)) I i need to take the second timber away...
Hi sorry for the delay its a vokera linear 28 combi boiler and its about two years old the only prob I'm having with the filling loop is that it keeps dropping to one bar Is I tried to fill it to 1.5 but it just keeps dropping to 1??? why do you think this is?
When bleeding my system I know I should turn off pump but do you only bleed until water starts coming out or until the bubbles stop?? and should the valves be open or closed?
Hi guys I've posted asking about my radiator problem I'm going to get someone in as I think the problem lays with the pipe work I've got a vokera linear 28 combi boiler this should be fine for running two big 1.5kw radiators and 6 smaller (in most cases much smaller) singles ?? Dont you think or...
Steve your a good man thanks for your help here I'm sure the pump can take it its the pipes I'm worried about I'm going to keep working on the balancing tonight
Cheers buddy

Hi Steve yip the whole system seems to be made up from 8mm pipe the only 10mm pipe is from where I took the tee off so about 10 meters of 10 mm everything else is 8mm do you think I need to get a smaller rad then???
My radiator at the back of the house had 8 mm pipe I connected 10mm pipes to these using olive connectors and teed off the flow and return moving it along the wall then reattached a new rad with new valves and also add another small radiator 3 foot the other way hence the tee both rads aren't...
OK will try this but I didn't use solder I used olives as I'm not allowed to have a blow torch Ha! cheers I'm I missing something easy here when you buy new rads are there anything inside (other than the cap) I should remove as pipes are hot well flow one anyway??? you don't need to burst...
I've tried that as I read that here in another post?? the top of the smaller new rad is a little warm but everything else is cold!! It was me that done the tee off from the old point so I'm trying to feed two rads through the one flow and return will this not work??
Hi guys I’ve teed off from an existing radiator point in my extension moved the radiator about 3 foot and upgraded it to a double rather than the 600 X 1000 single that was there and added another 600 X600 in the next room about 2 foot away in my stupidity before the tees i changed the pipe size...
