The hot water pressure through my newly installed monobloc tap seems well down.
Am I to expect this due to the 15mm connection now being tapered down to 10mm inside the monobloc?
I need to lower the waste pipe that runs from my bath through the wall to the waste/down pipe. It wasn't something that had even crossed my mind until I'd installed the new bath and saw how much deeper it was than the old one! Raising the bath isn't an option.
What do I need to drill a 40mm...
Thanks for that. I assume that screwing a metal female connector onto a plastic male thread isn't a problem?
PS I wish I knew more about what I was doing - I've run out of towels
I am about to connect my new close-coupled cistern to the water supply.
The cistern appears to have a plastic 15mm thread protruding vertically.
What connection do I need to use to join my incoming 15mm copper pipe to this 15mm plastic thread and do I need some plastic pipe in between?
Attempting to tighten the flexible hoses using the hexagonal part of the hose just seems to knacker the braiding.
I think i'm just stuck with hoping that hand-tight is good enough.
PS This plumbing lark is rubbish by the way and people who design taps need to think of people like me who...
Yes, I realise that you connect them up before fitting the tap.
My question is.... how do you tighten them up? They're inaccessible inside the monobloc.
Having just bought a new Monobloc tap thingy, I would like to know how I tighten up the 2x10mm connections deep inside the monobloc.
I have been out to swap the rigid pipe connections that came with the set for some nice flexible ones...
