Hello all
I have taken tiles off in kitchen and it has pulled a lot of the skim coat of plaster off. The wall is now very patchy. I want to re skim before fitting new units.
What would be best?bonding first then multi or could I just go straight to multi or use 1 coat plaster?

it would be a ratched crimper not a cheap one.
bas- yeah be moved horizontally. the old switch cable has been chased out so would be a case of chasing vertically above the new switch.
yeah will be in safe zone as only move to the left as otherwise would be behind the hob which wouldnt work.extending cable would be last resort as ceiling would have to come down as cant access above. i was thinking 60amp junction box or crimp to join cable as its only a oven on the circuit just...

cooker switch needs to be moved as having built in oven and hob but the 6mm cable is about 6 inches too short to reach the switch. it will only be supplying the oven so could you join 6mm cable with 60amp junction box or crimp the joints to extend the cable. Access cant be done from above...
saw it with downlights, they were connected at switch at com and l1 both had brown cable then the neutrals were in a connector block in the back of the box.
i went with an electrician to gain experience and he mentioned that all lights were powered at the switch.
im struggling to understand this and was wondering if anyone could explain how etc

i just need to check that its def the switch wire connected right as whole house has dodgy electrics and the loft isnt accessable so cant get up there and look where the wires go to identify them

i want to put 8 downlights in my lounge. it will be replacing a ceiling rose. the downlights wont be low voltage through a transformer.
could someone tell me how best to wire these up and where the switch wire etc goes
