I was wondering if anyone else has one of these electric boilers as most reference to them has disapeared from the web.
Ours is working fine :? but I have been informed of possible problems :x .
We had ours installed by Ecolec Innovations but they seem to have vanished.
I wondered if...
What gasket goes bang! Can't see any sign of one! Already tried heat with not much luck. Maybe a more powerfull torch would do it but I'm running out of patience...
I need to install a new hot water tank as immersion heater has failed and thread on heater is completely seized :? (bending tank when attempting to unscrew).
I thought this would be easy but the drain point is also completely seized (broke tool trying to undo).

Hi
We have a chemical DPC, some of the injection holes are not plugged - anyone know where you can get 12mm plastic caps to plug them - seems like mice can get in! :(
Tried asking at local builders merchant with no luck.
thanks

Hi
I have drained down our sealed system CH as we had to remove most of the rads for some building work. The system has two auto air vents, a pressure vessel (obviously), and a bypass at the boiler.
Has anyone got an easy to follow step-by-step procedure for refilling and recommisioning...
Thanks Qedelec
You would have thought they would put the required terminal in the dry lining box though! Now I will go back to the supplier and buy a 5amp termal block.

Thanks HandyJon,
It looks like I can get away with the bumps and ridges using some underlay. I don't know how thick Floormaster Heavy Duty Underlay is but B&Q also do 'Unifelt Underlay' that is 7mm thick - however you need a separate DPC for this.
thanks
Ian
Hi HOASAMU
Thanks for advice.
The ridges are no more than 1-3mm but there are a lots of them. Wouldn't 20mm polystyrene be a bit soft to lay flooring on top of - have you tried it yourself? I was wondering if the normal underlay stuff would be adequote for minor inconsistancies?
thanks
Ian
Hi
I have a concrete floor that I would like to lay a floating laminate floor onto. I have leveled the floor with floor leveling compound but I think I mixed the compound too thick as there are lots of trowel marks and small ridges  . How level do I have to get the floor to lay the...
Just had some builders in to remove an old fireplace and expose the old brick arched 'range' fireplace :) . They have cleaned it up with acid based brick cleaner, but it hasn't worked that well :( .
I found a reference in an american article on the web that talks about using a mixture of...
