Looks like the last resort other than calling BT out. I know one thing though i wont be using Senate. Neweys was shut this morning and they charged me £6 for a cash sale :shock: I'll go back tommorow and try the one from my house.

I double checked them and re-terminated them 3 times with my rs punchdown tool. I can only think thats its not a problem in the house, but surely the BT guy could tell if it was ringing or not.

Yep its a master. 1 capacitor and 1 maybe 2 resistors.

He's never changed the socket himself, its always been a master, one day it just stopped ringing! I cant think what else it can be ! If BT have to come back it then becomes chargeable :(
