Hi, I've got a hole where the Venetian blinds were fixed by the previous owner and find that the edges near the window are quite hollow and a regular fixing wasn't used to hold one end. Now, on clearing the small debris, there's a hole at least 4 cms deep and 4 wide. Don't want to explore this...

Thanks to all. The rods in all the blinds are similar - apparently all blinds were custom made. I'll have to figure something out!

It's a question of matching six windows if I replace one for her. Any idea why blinds are so cheap on amazon(about twenty) but more expensive in say Dunelm (more like seventy)? Am I compromising buying from Amazon? Any tips ?
