Problem sorted.....fault cleared after 30 mins

Hi I am trying to clear a backup battery error that is displaying on my alarm. I have replaced battery and the battery fuse with new but has made no difference, display still shows battery fail when setting the alarm. Any ideas what else i can check or do?

can I buy a small bit of pipe from home base or bnq? what width does it need to be?

The water outlet has a 15mm isolating valve fitted, and the shower inlet is a 15mm fitment. The included nut fits downways onto the shower connector. I'm stumped as to how to connect up to the waterpipe? Do you get 2 way 15mm compression nuts?

My electric shower (House of Amber i.e rebranded Ultra AX310/AX311 is not flowing any water. No led is lit when pressing the 3 power options. The Off button led blinks when that is pressed. Anyone got any ideas or should i be looking to get it replaced?

Looking for wireless PIR's for the Honeywell galaxy system...have found 2 different types but unsure as to the difference between them...the 2 different models are IR8M and the IR800M? Or is there another alternative pir available for this system?

Approx 3k for both elec n gas. Hob and oven are gas. House built in 1989. timber frame construction. No insulation underneath and none in walls. Don't think we can get any put in either. I'm assuming it is the higher kW output based on rooms and bathrooms. Majority of house is empty...

Yeah the BG engineers seem to work from a laptop schematic as to possible faults, and then replace parts one by one till they find the cure. Not very impressed to be honest.

Currently have a baxi 100/2he plus boiler which seems to be on its last legs (noisy and leaking and badly installed according to more than one engineer)... Been covered by British Gas on their home care cover for several years...and 3 out of 7yrs, an engineer has either condemned the boiler...

I thought this was a Do it Yourself Forum..not a security installers forum! Understandable that you want to protect your highly profitable revenue streams but i would rather do it myself and not have to rely on a 3rd party who could quite easily go bust leaving me with a unconfigurable system...
