Think its already been there and done that :oops: its in the loft and at some point in the past it has leaked (old water marks) not sure what would of caused it! It has got a newish expansion tank fitted externally.

Doesn't sound good! What problems will I be facing then?

Thanks Bella, winds me up that BG always try push new boilers on people! In our last place we had an old BBU changed out (not BG a local installer), and after a couple of years they were still trying to push on new boiler on us!

Hi guys, boiler model is GW 24Ci - no part is required, works fine just that BG say the parts are obsolete which doesn't sit right, must be around 10 years old but I would of thought parts are still out there!

I have never checked my weekly usage but we have a 15 year old Baxi Back Boiler (bungalow 8 rads & Gas Cooker). When we first moved in a year ago BG charged us 50 quid a month direct debit - however we have sinced serviced the boiler and powerflushed. Our bill (bearing in mind Gas has gone up)...

Possibly 3 Way valve sticking? I had the opposite problem a while back (hot water but no heating!)

I had the same issue with my Baxi Bermuda Back Boiler - google for a 100CM Stadium Vent, this will meet the current regulations.
