Here's a stupid question to save me money.... Can I use the Plasterboard adhevise as a joint filler? What difference will it make between that and the named filler. All I can see is I will need to go out and spend more money when I have plenty adhesive. Regards Adrian

I was advised to cover it with polythene after laying the screed. I have removed it now after 5 days.

I'm not bothered about the work I know I can handle that, I dug the foundations for this job by hand (well, hand and shovel :D ). I have just read that the screed layer should be done in one day and I am querying if I need to finish next day what the impact could be if any?

About to lay a screed floor and have read I need to put an insulation upstand around the perimeter of the screed floor. Is this really necessary? The screed floor is 65mm so I will need to place a strip of 65mm x 20mm insulation around the room. Is there a place I can buy this in strip form...

It's a Model 40B. We have a work around for the board failure so will be replacing in January unless the failure goes complete. Our heating engineer went on holiday today so will be talking to him when he returns and I am just looking at the various different boilers that could replace this one.
