Hi AGAS yes was set. But think the two mm extra turn on the screw may have fixed it,well the pressure dropping on the hot water that is. It seems to have stayed at 1.4 now for the last ten mins which is longer than it was before. How stupid do I feel...

Hi Tony Just triple checked the ch valves one turned an extra mm or two no more though,maybe that was the cause for pressure dropping,will carry on watching Thank you

if this helps it was on 0.4 pressure just now,open the valves to refill it and it jumped to 1.9 in a second or two.The engineer fitted a new gauge and sensor as well,so hopefully they should be working right.Starting to think it might be easier if their was a leak under the floorboards....

Ive also taped a finger from a rubber glove to the bottom of the outside pipe.To see if that catches anything.

Hi AGAS Thanks for replying.Well I just isolated the Central heating under the boiler and just left the hot water on,to see if it will rise and the pressure is still dropping. Help

just a thought could it be air pockets in the system.As it dose not seem to take to long to fill pressure back up again. Thank you

Hello folks its me again. Engineers been again. definitely didn't seem to happy about having to come back,something about losing money if they get called back. Anyway long story short he changed the filling link and prv. Thanks TCC Refilled and left. I bled the rads and topped back up again...

Thats great thanks again.Will call them back in the morning. Would in your experience, that cause the pressure to drop when the heatings on.
