    Smoke Alarm woes

Sorry it is a Kiddie consumer smoke alarm....... not sure of the model but a fairly cheap one I think. It usually goes off when we turn the sockets that our computers are plugged into on but it has also gone off when we've plugged in lamps and or phone chargers.

    Smoke Alarm woes

Hi there myself and a friend have recently started renting a newly converted flat and we are having some trouble with one of the fire alarms in the place. It is wired into the mains and mounted on the ceiling downstairs in between the two bedrooms. However it has a recurring problem that...

    Conversion with a few probs

Cheers for the demoralising replies folks!! To be fair it is all, mostly, stuff that I've mentioned to the ladlady and I was looking for reassurance that I wasn't just being a pain. It's a shame because it could've been a really nice flat if it'd been put together properly in the first place...

    Conversion with a few probs

Hi there myself and a friend have recently moved in to a new flat conversion in an end of terrace house. Having been there a month or so a few problems have started to emerge and although the landlady is being very nice about trying to get things sorted the builders she is using appear to be...
