Why would I get my gas supply capped when I can just get my gas safe engineer to pop over and remove the valve. Its been this way for 10 years and nothing bad happened.

This leads to the gas hob. Slight eggy smell from it accumating in cutlery draws. Registers one additional cube on my H61 gas tester. Uses 0.01 or 0.02 kwh gas overnight when no appliances are on. Years ago my plumber put a new isolation valve in the cellar because she couldn't find this one...

Hi I have a 2006 Aspirante. If I turn the shower off then on again I get a burst of scalding hot water before it goes back to the correct heat. This could be if I was putting shampoo on. What could it be or is this normal.
