Hi I have a 2006 Aspirante. If I turn the shower off then on again I get a burst of scalding hot water before it goes back to the correct heat. This could be if I was putting shampoo on. What could it be or is this normal.
Mmn. I've spent quite a lot of time and effort fixing leaks by replacing seals and o-rings so I was hoping that it would be quite easy to fix this last problem.
When the shower turns off, the thermal inertia of the heating element means that the small volume of water in the chamber in the shower carries on heating. It's normal for basic shower units. I have a Mira shower which behaves like that. You soon learn to keep out of the water flow for a few seconds when turning the shower back on .
