Triton Monaco shower

Hi am new here today so excuse me if I don't do this correctly.
Anyway I have a Triton Monaco shower that for no reason and at any time while showering the water turns scaldingly hot burning whoever is in there and then within seconds goes stone cold then reverts back to the correct temperature. Has anyone got any clues as to why.

Heating element scaled up. Replace it.
