Hi and thanks for replying. The boiler is in a tenanted property so it's difficult to leave it off for long. I pressurised to 2.0 this afternoon, switched-off the boiler and there was no movement for about 5 hours - if that isn't conclusive I'll try again another day when I can leave it longer.

Thank you. An issue I have is that I rent the room out and can't rely on the tenant to use the fan. I need something that doesn't rely on them to do anything. Is my suggestion of adding an air brick or creating an opening going to work? I appreciate its more intrusive than using a fan but...
