    Plasterboard - is it safe to lean a ladder against it?

    Just painting stairway leading up to new loft conversion. Is it safe to use a ladder to reach the ceiling if the ladder is propped against a plasterboard panel? Or would I be in danger of breaking the plasterboard? Thanks!

    Thanks! Do you mean that there would have been regular inspections throughout the project? I think it does differ slightly up here in Scotland, but I'm beginning to worry about that too - nothing about visits/inspections was ever mentioned, but we may have made a mistake in just trusting...
