the other is for a light in the loft

hall and landing light are 2 way...gonna get a spark out i think to sort it...thanks for all the help

got nothing upstairs at all, had the odd flicker when trying wires in different ways

Looking at the back of the switch the left hand side is the top landing switch

I used a neon screwdriver ( dont have multi meter )

This is the top landing switch

ok..i removed the red cable from the right hand side L2 ( from the back ) and the hall light still switches on and off

yes there is another switch on the landing..but i haven't touched that one yet

Looking at the picture the right hand section from the back of the switch operates the hall light and the other is the landing

Managed to find the permanent live and join it over to the other com, i have tried several combinations for the others and can get the hall light on but no the landing...anymore pointers as to where to put the other wires..

Well i shouldn't of messed but i did, the back of the switch is different from the old switch so can anyone advise me on what wires to where please...

Moved in my house a year ago and got a plumber to fit 2 new rads in the extension, he fitted them with TRV's...last week i had a few trv's removed as i'm not a fan of them and every time the water is heating, the 2 new rads and none of the others get hot..? They both work fine with the heating...

Hello all. I currently have external stone cladding on the front of my house which i intend to cover by battening and then fixing cement board. Can i paint directly onto the cement board if i fill the joints..? would a good quality masonary paint be all i need..?

Looking for some advice on rendering, i have moved to a house with a section of decorative stone wall at the front which i want rendered, there are some deep holes on the wall upto 40mm, is it possible to do as i am worried about shrinkage or cracking.
