PWA question for retaining wall butting up to party fence

PWA question for retaining wall butting up to party fence

We already have building control approval so should be ok. We did tell the neighbours about the previous work in the retaining wall. The issues have arisen with our planning applications and their numerous (9) sets of non-sensical and entirely untrue objections. Hence now going down the PD...

PWA question for retaining wall butting up to party fence

PWA question for retaining wall butting up to party fence

The left (higher and bulkier) part of the RW is not going to be touched- this is the part holding back most earth. From there it slopes down to around 2m from the back of the property where it is at ground level. We already changed the entire length of the RW (without PWA) a year or so ago and...

PWA question for retaining wall butting up to party fence

When we replaced the wooden sleepers with the current RW the ground stood firm and there was no issue. The structural einigeee has suggested some sort of support system using timber stays to hold the weight back but I don’t think they will be needed

Hi there. I am planning to build a rear single storey extension under PD. Part of the work will involve replacing an existing retaining wall with something slimmer and then tieing this new RW into the side of the extension The RW will be wholly on our land butting up to our party fence...

Advice on best way to combine planning permission and PD (prior approval)

Thanks Woody, If they did remove PD rights after we make the pp application I guess these only kick in once you have built it out? Could we also not include the rear part on the red lines on the pp app? Has anyone else got any creative ideas?

Advice on best way to combine planning permission and PD (prior approval)

HI there, after a couple of pre-apps and a refusal my local council have agreed in principle to my two storey side extension providing i step in by 1m at first floor level. This will replace an existing single storey side extension built with PP (keeping the same width at ground floor). This...
