Hi guys. I’m re-purposing some conduit and was wondering if anyone knows if I can cut it with an evolution mitre saw or would a grinder be better.
Thanks in advance
The cable will come from the board, up the wall to a tray, about 4m then 90deg bend onto another tray then about 6m then another 90deg to the wall where the engineer want it.
I’m just trying to get the size so I can ask a local supplier to donate it as it’s for charity. We currently have loads of fridge freezers that we’re donated and some are failing so a nice local guy bought and donated this and we’re trying to get it commissioned and need this supply for it.
oh...
No mate I’m definitely not doing it. I’m literally just wondering what size cable it requires. We’re trying to get it costed out as cheap as poss and one of the volunteers is a retired spark but I won’t see him till later in the week and I need to cost it ASAP.
Hi guys hopefully a quick one for you. What size cable is required for a 16a 3 phase supply. It is approximately 10-12 meters from panel to required point, for the installation of a walk in freezer for a food hub I’m helping out.
many thanks all
It does need to be round to match others, but no I need it to stay on. It’s for a fan in my camper conversion. Extractor or inlet.
Thanks for advice guys it’s invaluable
Yes thanks John. I actually wanted the on off on double pole but bought the wrong one. I’m now looking for the right on in a small circular rocker. Oh well I’ll keep on looking.
Thanks everyone for taking the time.
Would I be right in saying in a on off on double pole
1&2 in
3&4 out
5&6 in
If so could I connect 1&6 and 2&5 to reverse the polarity (12v dc by the way)
Thanks pal. Bought the wrong bloody one. Wanted on off on double pole but got DPDT when I saw 6 terminals on the back thought they were the same.
Why would a DPDT switch have 6 terminals but only 2 positions on the switch ? Surely 2in 2out is all that’s needed
