I can remember everything about the build from start to finish i know it was built to 1991 building regs it was done in stages footings were dug we had to wait for Bc officer to check and the sewage pipe and manhole was checked then footing filled with concrete and brickwork and DPC was checked...
The person who wants to buy our house has requested we get the certificate of completion to prove building regulations were followed correctly but now that we have contacted council we cant use indemnity insurence ive been told
No they never sent us anything we also had a small part of a wall removed and replace the old rsj this was also overseen by BC they found the paperwork for that.
20 years ago we had an extension built this was overseen by BC in stages and signed off but now we want to sell our house BC say they cant find the documentation what is the next step
