    Fair question - mainly because I'm doing it at a very reasonable price, and i dont think the house sale will be an overnight thing, i expect the process to take at least a year, maybe longer. So i would like to enjoy my home in the interim.

    Yeah i was probably off on that, i just remembered is was no where near the 3000w limit. Diy job isn't preferable, and i appreciate as electricans you have to advise on the side of caution- from what ive read most people just do it with far less consideration than me with far more power...
