Its a Glowworm Ultracom 24hxi in a detached family sized home. About 15 rads in total. You're right the prices are not that different though the Draytons are better priced than the H'wells.

I have an ageing Drayton TA/V9 3-port valve which needs replacing. Can anyone suggest a suitable replacement? Would a standard Honeywell or Drayton 22mm be ok or should I go to 28mm since the old one is 1"? I can see that the pipework will need reworking as the port arrangement in the...
