It’s not moving at all. Is it worth putting WD40 on it? I just don’t want to snap it and flood the house lol

Hi, I need to take the towel radiator off to paint the wall. It has a thermostat on one end and a different valve on the other end but not sure if it turns or if it’s a cap? I will add a picture. I don’t want to force it and snap something. It is quite rusty so may need changing in future.

I think it’s just a pre-heat feature.

I did tell the other half that it could affect the boiler but we have been doing this for a year without any issue. I have noticed our bill has also reduced since doing this.

Yes I did consider this as I do have a spare smart plug that has worked great for other things in the past. Does this go against regulations? The spur does connect directly to its own breaker so it is isolated. Thanks

Thank you it’s an ideal esprit 2 30kw boiler from 2012 and doesn’t have this function unfortunately. We rented a property a few years ago and it had a valiant boiler and you could turn eco mode off to stop it firing all night.

We have been turning it off for a year fine but my question is about the spur and if it is possible to use that.

Starts filling then comes out the sides of the doors then power trips. The bottom just stays full of water.

Where is the ring nut? Nothing split and use rinse aid and salt and tablet. It is almost like sonthing is blocked or somthin?
