    Tiling on Aquapanel

I've got a new Aquapanel shower cubicle which I want to tile. Do I need to use any tanking tapes or solutions on the wall surfaces before applying the tile adhesive?

    Tiling a kitchen splashback

When tiling a kitchen splashback, should you tile straight up from the work surface or use a spacer between the bottom course of tiles and the work surface?

Cutting and laying travertine fireplace tiles

Can anyone help with this please? :( I've got some sealant for the tiles which I think needs to go on after adhesive but before the grout. If I go for a pale adhesive and grout I guess that will look best with travertine but I wondered if the heat from the fire would be an issue?

Cutting and laying travertine fireplace tiles

I've got a fireplace to lay with travertine tiles. Do they need a diamond wet tile cutter? What's the best adhesive/grout for a travertine fireplace? The tiles need to be sealed too, don't they (Lithofin?)?

    filling holes in plasterboard

How much adhesive will be required ??

Separate grout is better and go for a waterproof/mouldproof. The bag will give you a guide as to how much it will cover but this can vary wildly depending on how much you gouge the dried adhesive out between the tiles. You need to remove any adhesive that will be proud of the grout. If...

    Quick n dirty...can i plaster onto wood?

You may get away with it if you paint a coat or two of waterproof PVA on the wood before plastering? The first coat seals the wood a bit and the second helps the plaster grip.

    Removing Haze

I'm no expert but have you tried rubbing it off with a dry cloth? Grout just gets more and more thinned out as you wash it off but it never really goes until you use a dry cloth on it.

    Resurfacing enamel bath

Are there any decent, effective DIY products for resurfacing enamel baths? Used some Cillit Bang  on mine and it's taken some of the enamel surface off.
