    after having a new carpet fitted the doors in our house now rub on the carpet. we only had the doors fitted about a year ago, they are those white panelled doors that are about 20 quid each. what's the best method for removing a couple of millimetres off the bottom? 1) Electric Plane...

    the vent pipe for the waste system on my bungalow comes out the ground by the wall and goes up, bends around the eves and stops about a foot above the eves. could i cut this off at about 4 foot and put a durgo valve on the top? i want to do this becuase it looks very ugly at the moment...
