    Worcester Bosch Combi Controller/Thermostat Options

Most reviews are saying the Hive stat is better than the Bosch Easy Control? & I could situate the wireless receiver / controller right next to the boiler, making installation very easy

    Worcester Bosch Combi Controller/Thermostat Options

Thanks, might get one then. I'd remove the LP10RF altogether, as I have the 'blanking plate' for it

    Worcester Bosch Combi Controller/Thermostat Options

The Boiler is a Greenstar 29CDi Classic, currently fitted with a Drayton LP10RF controller. So if someone could recommend what options I have for a smart / Bluetooth thermostat, like I said running a cable to the boiler isn't a problem if necessary.

    Worcester Bosch Combi Controller/Thermostat Options

Thanks, yes I will post model when I get in from work today. The Drayton controller that is currently fitted is fine - it's the wireless wall stat that needs replacing, I thought I'd see what other options I have before replacing it like-4-like

    Worcester Bosch Combi Controller/Thermostat Options

I have a WB Combi boiler with the Drayton LP10RF 'Clip-In' Wireless controller & Digistat +3RF Thermostat. Basically I need a new +3RF wall Thermostat, as mine got smashed. Before I replace it I was wondering what other options I have with this boiler i.e. different brands/types of...

Multifuel Stove in Conservatory through polycarb roof - doable

way too expensive - I'm not actually going to spend anymore money on a new stove, the idea was 100% based on being able to fit the new Stove I already have, If I can't do this I will forget the idea. I may look to have it installed in my living room, but that is more involved as I would need a...

Multifuel Stove in Conservatory through polycarb roof - doable

Looks like I will have to forget it - I have just realised there is no way I can position the stove that maintains the minimum required distance of 600mm to the PVC widow frame & ledge on the Right hand side. Unless there is any way out of this?, if not looks like project abandoned

Multifuel Stove in Conservatory through polycarb roof - doable

Yes I will contact all necessary bodies & find out the cost of getting it inspected & certified before starting any work (this actually will be the deciding factor whether I do it or not)

Multifuel Stove in Conservatory through polycarb roof - doable

Thanks, yes that all sounds very do-able without too much work, yes I'm going to do it!. The water pipes will go too, as it feeds a radiator just to the right of the stove wall that won't be needed with a stove (I can always stick an oil filled electric rad in it's place if no solid fuel burning...

Multifuel Stove in Conservatory through polycarb roof - doable

Thanks, The Manual & plate on the back of the stove state 800mm from the rear & 600mm from the side away from combustible materials, which is obviously too far out from the wall - so I would have to remove the sockets/skirting board & the plaster board & hard wall it, fit a heat shield & then...

Multifuel Stove in Conservatory through polycarb roof - doable

Here is a photo of where I propose to put the stove, I can confirm the wall is concrete block, plaster boarded over & skimmed. The height from the flue exit on the stove to the roof is approx 2M. Obviously everything will be removed off the wall, including the dado rail + wallpaper if required

Multifuel Stove in Conservatory through polycarb roof - doable

Thanks, Yes I can cut a square out of the Laminate easily & sit the hearth directly on the concrete sub floor, that wouldn't be a problem at all. The wall is currently papered - but the paper can be removed easily, or could I just use a heat shield?. How far from the wall will the stove need to...
