Shower Flow Rate in a Trevi Boost

Softus brand new, thinking of replacing the 15mm flexible to the shower head with 22mm copper with a 1/2 inch connection to the head. I've checked the flows without the shower rose on and they are the same so no blockage in the rose. If the 22mm copper doesnt help, I'll check the flows...

Shower Flow Rate in a Trevi Boost

Having real problems in getting any kind of flow rate from the Trevi Boost Venturi shower. Hot water head, equivalent to 1m, hot water flow rate through flushing valve, 10l/m. Cold pressure nearly 3 bar, flow rate through flushing valve up to 60l/m. 22mm pipe serving hot and cold in...

    Venturi Shower Trevi Boost

The flow rate without the valve was calculated through the valve and not through the shower head. I removed the ceramic cartidge and checked the flow through the valve. However before doing this, without the DCV I checked it running through the shower head. It did the same as before, started...

    Venturi Shower Trevi Boost

Thanks for the advice. Tried hot without valve and no real difference. Decided to go back to basics and check pressure and flow rates. Mains pressure was 3.5bar, up from my last reading and now over the MI recommendations. Flow rate was 12l/m on the hot at shower head level, this...

    Venturi Shower Trevi Boost

Guys, thanks for your help. I will try the least restrictive single check valve I can get my hands on. When I run the hot only, with the cold stopcock off, the hot runs for about 20 secs, then runs down to a trickle, then stops. I did think it might be the trevi hot cut off valve, but the...

    Venturi Shower Trevi Boost

Hope you chaps are getting on fine now! :? Im going to spend a bit of time over the weekend trying to get the Trevi to work. A couple of potential issues might be; I have 22mm check valves on hot and cold. I bought these asking for 22mm check valves, what if I have installed double...

    Venturi Shower Trevi Boost

I have installed check NRV's and the arrows point in the right direction. I have a gate valve on the hot and a stopcock on the cold. When the cold is fully open the water hammers out of the shower head, but freezing. When I turn the cold valve of the hot water comes out of the shower head...

    Venturi Shower Trevi Boost

Posted 6 weeks ago regarding mains cold and low pressure hot feed for shower. Bought a Trevi Boost venturi shower and it looks good. Just installed it however and I am having problems getting any kind of temperature from the shower. I understood that it would work with up to 3 bar mains...

Power Shower on cold mains feed

Thanks for the help. Bought a Trevi Boost on the net, arrived on Friday, looks good, fixed head. Will be fitting it over the next couple of weeks. Simplifies greatly the work I would have needed to do to fit a pumped system, so hopefully it will work well. Great site, keep it going. JA

Power Shower on cold mains feed

Thanks for the answers. To keep the missus "on-side" I will look at the venturi, to get the system up and running. Might look at a longer term installation of separate tank feeding cold water at same head as hot. Only problem here would be positioning the pump. Any major problems with shower...

Power Shower on cold mains feed

Well. Ive tried scanning through all posts but still need to clear up a few things... I'm installing a new shower, hot water from indirect 110litre cylinder at ground floor, cold water from mains feed at about 3 bar, shower at first floor level, shower head will be about 1.4m below base of...
