Is the following cable suitable for an 8.7 - 9.5kW shower? "Basic To BS6004 6242YH / 2 x 2.5 + 1.5 Sqmm / Altin 2006 4" Any help would be appreciated. John

Can I use the shower power cable to also operate the small 4inch extractor fan? Originally I was going to use the light switch, but found approx 3-sets of cable running to and from the ceiling rose.

Hi, I plan to install a shower, with a 15mm CW supply coming from the floor area, and running up the wall to the shower unit. Should a double check valve be positioned at the base of the CW supply, (i.e near the equal tee feed) or near the top just before the shower unit itself...

Hi Dave, thanks for that... is there any link available, whereby I see the insides of a bog-standard electric shower (1xcold 15mm pipe in) shower, i.e for plumping connection or fittings etc... Just curious before I get stuck in so to speak

Hi, Our current cold water pipe runs around the bathroom and into kitchen at a height of 9 inches (approx 23cm) off the floor. Can we drop this down? We may have to re-site the sink and shower wastes. Is there a min height that the pipe (15mm) must be above? i.e some building reg...
