Hi @daern , I’m a complete newbie to HA but wondered if you could help. I’ve followed the instructions as best I can but stuck now. The logs in texecom2mqtt are fetching all the areas and zones but what do I do from here? The least I need to do is get arm and disarm on the dashboard.

Did this result in the bell box being permanently lit or did it just give you a solution to not having to change the batteries?

Thanks for your help. All sorted, did a session over team viewer. Next job is to wire in the bell box so it’s always lit. Can this be done by jumping off a porch light?

I spoke to Texecom, they've suggested I take it back and get a replacement which is going to be a pain as i'll likely need to set it all up again.

It’s strange as it’s worked previously. I just had to reset everything as wintex had a paddy

The thermostats are wired back to a junction box which fires the boiler. Then the thermostats are wired less connected to the hub which is plugged into the router allowing me to control them through an app

This is the thing, the only battery operated device on 868 is the Texecom alarm. The Heatmiser is hardwired but I think it connects to the hub over 868

Thanks for the reply. I’m not sure how I’m going to identify the device that’s faulty or low battery on the 868 frequency. I’m putting it down to the Heatmiser system because it was causing issues when near my router, the internet kept dropping.

I’ve got a Texecom wireless richochet alarm that I installed myself. I seem to be getting a delay on the keypad, for instance when I go to set the alarm, I enter the code and it takes around 5-10 seconds before it comes up with so you want to arm the system. Is this normal? Maybe related but...

Any suggestions on a detergent?
