I'm curious as to why ring circuits are wired 1 socket to the next and then ending back at the CU. I understand this splits the load, but lets say you had loads of sockets on one side of the house and then a long cable run to a couple on the other. The one side will be overloaded if in full...

Hello, If I got R1 + R2 readings of 0.16 on a ring but in another room I got 0.49 on all sockets in there, this would appear to be a radial spurred of the ring, maybe? As there are not any fused spurs and hoping the job is done correctly, what else could cause the higher readings? Baring...
