Anyone here have knowledge of a firedex 9000?

Mcp's are throughout and Cooper have been no use at all. I totally understand what you are saying and the install company are being contacted. Would have just be good to have a manual for this system. Thanks

Anyone here have knowledge of a firedex 9000?

It's not going to take too long this way, but switching them across might be easier if I knew how on this, as I have no manual for this model... Would you know, Alarm?

Anyone here have knowledge of a firedex 9000?

Wondering if anyone here has knowledge of a firedex 9000 panel? With these particular ones, if the mains power is switched off and the battery disconnected, no settings on these can be lost can they? Needs a zone board swap, has an unusual fault on one zone, seems to be the board but would...

    R1 + R2 inconsistent readings.

Id just like to say thanks for all the advice. Strayed a little of topic, but has helped me loads.

    R1 + R2 inconsistent readings.

Seems to avoid Reg 526.3 altogether

    Pretty much settled that then.

    R1 + R2 inconsistent readings.

Then Wagobox push joints need or need not be?

    R1 + R2 inconsistent readings.

Do crimp joints not need to be accessible, unlike junction boxes?

Will take a look and order some in. Thanks you MB.

    R1 + R2 inconsistent readings.

First time I've heard of or even seen a Wagobox! Can you recommend a place to buy these at a good price?

    R1 + R2 inconsistent readings.

Yeah tests the complete circuit through L+N and the same on the second cable but crossed over with the first. So anywhere on the circuit the readings will be exactly the same. All I'm going to do is pick 2 points where to come out of one socket to a JB and then from the other back to a JB, just...

    R1 + R2 inconsistent readings.

Looks like I just need to put a junction box in to extend the one ring to the other, completing it as a single circuit.

    Ring circuit wiring question.

I'm curious as to why ring circuits are wired 1 socket to the next and then ending back at the CU. I understand this splits the load, but lets say you had loads of sockets on one side of the house and then a long cable run to a couple on the other. The one side will be overloaded if in full...

    R1 + R2 inconsistent readings.

Thanks Taylor Looks like 2 rings bolted together. Going to be taking up the floor boards soon anyway, so will just re-wire that part as I need to add more sockets also.

    R1 + R2 inconsistent readings.

Hello, If I got R1 + R2 readings of 0.16 on a ring but in another room I got 0.49 on all sockets in there, this would appear to be a radial spurred of the ring, maybe? As there are not any fused spurs and hoping the job is done correctly, what else could cause the higher readings? Baring...
