    Artex celing - Plasterboard or skim

    Hi guys we have to normal size rooms 3.5x3.5 (x2) that have artex on them, we would like flat celings. So would it be better to skim them, or platerboard them skim them? We have very high celings so can get away with losing 1" or so. Any advice would be great

    Hi everyone Bought some butt connectors (blue and red) and a ratchet http://www.screwfix.com/p/ratchet-crimping-tool-1-5-10mm/49092 but can never get a good connection and sometime you see a bit of the bare wire being pushed through Is it the ratchet or am i doing things wrong Thanks

    Thanks Have now managed to get the cable back to the landing switch just a few holes in the wall now Got the cable coming tomorrow so will get it all sorted tomorrow. And Regarding JB Should i crimp cable using butt ends and then put them in a chocblock?
