boiler pilot light must relight daily or more..

Hiya. thanks for the reply. fault light? there are no obvious lights on our model.. (just a grey reset switch) they maybe under the cover, but I've not had this off. (corgi or gas safe approved engineer only nowadays I think?) Didn't realise our's didn't have a pilot light, in that case, it...

boiler pilot light must relight daily or more..

Hi. We have an issue with the pilot light not staying lit. We have to relight it daily often 2-3 times per day. (we only used h/w only most of summer). Prior to this, we had an issue with it leaking, 5-6 engineer visits to get it resolved - around 3-4 months ago.. Not sure if it's...

hotpoint washing machine goes straight to "end"

Hiya, The washer is on it's first "full" load after 1 empty wash, it's gotta be nearing the end of the cycle and your right, it is alot quieter after a few full RPM spins... If i'm picky, it bounces around a bit while getting upto speed but once spinning it's fine. could just be an uneven...

hotpoint washing machine goes straight to "end"

Hiya mate, thanks for the advice. Turned out was entirely my fault putting it back together while tired & not concentrating. Had a wire not pushed in properly to pressure sensor. this wouldn't let washer get past initial drain part of any cycle. now the drum bearings are done I can hear...

Hi. I hope someone might be able to offer some advice... we have an 8yr old Hotpoint WMA58P washing machine from new. recently it was getting really noisy on spin, so i bit the bullet and ordered a set of drum bearings and thought, while i've got it apart, i'll replace the motor brushes...

    MK1 Fiat Punto Trailing Arms

I realise this thread is quite old, but still appears on a google search. for anyone else who finds this thread having the same trouble, I had to cut a cross in the head of the bolt with an angle grinder, between a big hammer, some wd40 and a foot long flat head screwdriver on its side to be...

    what's it called?

Hi, I saw an adaptor / connector "thingy" in my friends kitchen light socket. (ceiling rose) forgot to take a photo :( basically they have a normal ceiling rose light fitting & instead of removing the ceiling rose & fitting a new light unit, (flourescent tube) they have just connected...
