    Thanks, looks like I need someone to call out and do it for me as I can't get in touch with the installer for the manager code as he has retired. Thanks for all the advice.

    Is the manager code the normal alarm code? If so nothing happens, just the four asterisks, if press ent, it lists a couple of alarm alerts when I was changing the pair over but won't let me reset it as normal???

    I have just replaced a tempremental pir with another. The control panel says " call manager, rest required" The Box is an Ademco microtech Galaxy 18 and the control keypad is a Honeywell galaxy. It's not connected to a telephone and is just a bell alarm. It works fine but the odd false alarm...
