    Its a new-build house and we asked them to put the pipework and cabling there but decided to save money and tile it ourselves. Bit of a false economy - sure they'd have done it quicker and easier than me! - but you know how it is when every penny counts. Thanks for the advice - off to try...

    I want to install a shower over my bath but which do I do first - install the shower or tile the walls? Also the adhesive says to mix "3 and a half parts powder to one part water by weight" (Butech). Does this mean I weigh the powder and weigh the water?!!!!
