Thanks for the help. I have set hot water to be on all the time and pulled the actuator to open so as long as it doesn't go off It should be okay. Time will tell. Thanks
I think Ive had 2 problems. 1 with the actuator. And another where I've had the main live in the Heating on and the live which should be in the Heating on in the permanent live.
So the boiler was only getting power when the heating was turned on.
Does that make sense?
It's like spaghetti...
It seems when I turn on hot water the actuator isn't moving across to open. If u then manually move it across and turn hot water off the actuator moves across to closed itself.
Yeh it's only heating the cylinder when the heating itself is on. Although I have my settings in the hive app to always have the HW on and shows its always on on the receiver light but obviously isn't.
Not sure about these
I haven't changed anything at the wiring centre that's how it was before I installed hive.
I'm trying to figure out what is linked between the boiler and the HW tank that when I turn the boiler on I also get HW
It was a drayton in before which I believe would have worked but I have not long moved into the house.
I'm unsure what you mean by gravity?
No changes were made in the wiring centre
Hi
I recently installed a hive on my Worcester greenstar system boiler.
When I turn on the hot water the light on the hive comes on. Same with the heating so all working fine there.
The heating comes on during the night so always have hot water in the morning but by mid day there is no hot...
