i work on cw booster sets and the exp vessel on the booster pump is generally set at 1 bar,
Jst checked the 105 manual there and it says 0.5 cold.

When you say cap the blow off, you mean cap off the safety valve on...
Not checked that, 8-10 bar sound bout right? I never thought of thet mind-Never ever had one go faulty in 10yrs

Just seems to be getting the pressure from somewhere, was thinking back through diverter valve or heat ex??

Pipework is ols half inch imperial but valves are jammed shut and need swapping

got called to a job last week to a 105e, safety valve dripping-Pressure was at just under 3 bar. released pressure to 1.2bar. disconnected filling loop. heating/hot water ok when I left.The customer claimed to have "fiddled with it" before I got there

Don't believe anything BG tell u. They tried to shaft my aunt £600 for a powerflush that didnt need doing.Told her all rads were sludged up.
Took me 2 hrs to take off 5 rads and flush out in garden.
I have a fault on a combi that is tripping the overheat on the top of boiler on occasions when heating's on and hot water is run, generally when taking a shower.
Checked the overheat stat and seems ok tho haven't replaced it. Does not trip if heating called for OR hot water demand called for...
