I’ve got 4 Rads. Which aren’t on at the moment as it’s only the middle of September.I usually have the Boiler serviced once a year. When I do I’ll ask the Plumber if he thinks the Rads are up to scratch.. Thanks for all the replies.

You’re probably right I’ll try Bleeding them. How do I balance them ?

Don’t think I’m getting enough heat out of the current ones. Changed the Boiler about 2 years ago. The Radiators were here when we bought the House about 6 years ago. I believe they haven’t been changed in a while. Saying that a flush of the System might be another way to go.

Hi Thinking of having all four Rads removed and Four new installed in the same place. I’m guessing they’re between 15 and 20 years old. I think they’re all 60 cm width not sure of the drop. Could anyone give me an estimate for supply removal and fitting in the G13 area of Glasgow. Thanks in advance

Unfortunately I think this guy lives on another planet. All I get off him is promises then excuses. Going to phone Gas Safety today see if I can get someone out to do a check. I mentioned this to him the other day. He is apparently not worried about gas safety checks.

I’ve put the details through to Gas Safety register. If no show tomorrow, I’ll just have to escalate the case with them. Hopefully get a Gas Safety check done.

Sent a return message saying I was sorry to hear about his wife’s condition. Told him if he could make it Monday all good. bit like playing chess with this guy, you have to figure your next move in advance.

Thanks Had a message on Friday saying he was coming round Saturday to replace the Boiler with a 30 kw and make do the other mistakes Was supposed to be here at 9.am yesterday never turned up. Had a message today saying his wife had had a miscarriage. Reckons will call tomorrow to update.

Wouldn’t mind a mains shower. What is the general cost of supply and fit ?

Luckily the wife was here when he originally came round to do the quote. She heard everything he said. So I guess she will be my witness. Just had a What’s App saying he will be around about 1pm. Good thing I’m not going anywhere :D
