    If you look closely, the bottom eave tile has mortar in between the tile and the one above it

    I am currently having an extension done and thinking of tiling the roof myself. It looks fairly straight forward (Yes I know it's an art) but I have noticed that there is mortar on top of the first tile, holding the second one down slightly. Is this common practice? Are they just bridging...

    Hi, Apologies for the daft question but I just wondered what the difference is between the CGE90/100 Catnic Lintel and the Birtleys variety. Apart from price? I've been quoted £60 more for the Catnic Thanks
