Well if too much force is used and stoptap gets sheared off they could argue that it was my fault and try to charge me for it which i would dispute.
I know of a sheared stoptap but this was fire brigade so no problem.
No personal knowledge of any disputes,just wary.
Having lived in a house with 3 showers off one combi i can vouch that they are better as users end up battling with each other for the supply.
I agree about the electric shower reasoning but some customers are not happy with the flowrate from those.
Thermostatic showers are supposed to keep the temperature constant irrespective of fluctuations in the hot and cold supplies.

Aqualisa outlets have a short thread and most of the generic hoses from B&q etc will leak.
Get an origional aqualisa or replacement from a plumbers merchant.

One trick i have used before is where if there is only a stoptap then ask about going to a metered supply.
