    There is about 2 to 2 and a half inches above basin and a couple of inches to either side, curving round where the old basin used to be. The tiles are a sort of flecked / marbled cream, which aren't available any more

    Thanks, but we have done that with bath, it's the bathroom washbasin that's the problem.

    We are in the process of fitting a bathroom suite in my house which we are going to let. The sink is a little smaller and not as high as the old one, so there is a gap behind it where the tiling stops. As we don't want to retile the whole bathroom and haven't got any of the original tiles, can...
