Am looking at building a pergola on the back of house on our new raised slab and am a bit confused/stumped when it comes to installing the flashing.
Anything I find shows how to chase in the flashing etc but not the actual process of getting it flush with the roof? The roof will be 3m...
Ah, ok, makes sense now…just tried the “downstairs lights” MCB and that isolated it. I didn’t even consider trying that.

I’ve just taken out an understairs cupboard that was a waste of space due to access of which houses our consumer unit, meter and a doorbell transformer and will be boxing everything.
It looks like the doorbell transformer (Freidland 752) is wired directly to the consumer unit with a light...
Sorry, my bad use of terms.
We were given full breakdown (depth of slab, DPC, foundations etc) of the area that the extension is to be built on (was significantly more construction involved than a shed base!) although can’t find the email from June with all this now!!
What I mean is from one of the quotes we received they gave a breakdown of what the works will entail including full details of what will be done to the area regarding making the base suitable for a structure to be built on.
With regards to being “signed off” it will be made within permitted...
I must also add we are potentially having other works done in the house (partial loft conversion) of which where a bulk of my money will be going…hence looking at doing other jobs myself to save money!

I have a Zanussi range oven of which a couple of months had issues with the pilot light going out (it's a commercial range oven).
After recommendations for a local service engineer to come and look at I booked them in. After looking at it the engineer replaced the thermocouple as the old one...
