Ok, apology time the switch on the LP522 was on pump not gravity. I thought I’d slid the thing over to G but when I looked more closely, it’s not a slider it’s a tab that you have to move from sitting on one set of steel pins to sit on another set of steel pins…so in effect it doesn’t slide at...

It’s only the HW that’s gravity, the CH is pumped. The boiler fires up for the HW but not the CH

I made sure the switch on the LP522 was set to gravity before installing it on the back plate
