tap the pin or you mean the side of the valve ?

honeywell. why isnt wise to gently pull pin up? did it few months ago and water started to flow into the rad nicely . must have been jammed then

i have 10 rads and 3 are stone cold in last week. took off trv head and pulled up the pin( as i know sometimes the pins goes kanckered. stillnothing. pump is fine. do i need to get plumber to replace trv valves?

hi. i have a worcester combi he 25. the temprature display is flashing then 2 lines appear .? wasnt flashing before any idea what that flashing means? boiler working ok

ok thanks. also last year a chap cut of my tenants cooker because the lid didnt shut the gas off when folded down? but again why cap it off??? a)most cookers dont have a lid so gas can flow out if the knob is accidentally turned on and b)alot of cookers the lid doesnt shut off the gas anyway as...

but why is it dangerous. theres no unlit gas coming from my oven so why cap it off??

he lighted the oven it was small flame then the flame got bigger. he shutt it off wanited about minute then fired the oven again and it went immediately to a high flame so he capped it . how is this dangerous?? can u explain??

i had a landlords certicate done on my flat. the gas guy capped of the cooker because he said the oven flame safety device was faulty. he said the flame should go to low rate then high rate then switch off the oven and the flame should go to low rate again. but mine went straight to high flame...
