Potterton Suprima PCBs

Back in 2006 you gave a very good report on the poor quality of the PCBs used by Potterton and mentioned you were going to approach Potterton about it. Did you get any results from them ?
I am also a design engineer ( now self employed ) and had serious concerns about the PCB in my eldest daughter's boiler ( Baxi by Potterton ) and now my other daughter has bought a house with a Suprima and that PCB is faulty. Some years ago as a bread and butter contract I was repairing PCBs for large semi industrial gas heaters and found these were a lot better than the potterton ones. The manufacturer had discontinued support for the boilers leaving my customer un-able to continue servicing the several hundred boilers he had on service contracts.
