The extension will span the 2 properties and the access will only be able from the first floor window witch is the middle gable window on the drawing

This is to access a side first story only extension to access the room.

The landing as far as I’ve been told only needs to be a step as the door opening into the room and not onto the stairwell is this wrong ?

Tony I’m curious to for everything I’ve read if head height and there is a landing there is no reason why ?

I’m thinking of a extension but only access but would this pass building regulations?
